If you follow me or are new to my blog, thank you for stopping by! I am a huge fan of floral stamps and I LOVE to color! Today I am sharing the Love you Floral stamp – Brutus Monroe. This stamp is gorgeous! Flowers and color to me just say HAPPINESS! Don’t you agree….. Do you love to color flowers? What is your favorite type of card to make? I would love to know (comment below).

I started by stamping my floral image using Versa Fine Clair ink in Pinecone. I then used my Zig Clean Color brush markers to color in my image. I used a variety of shades of colors. I love coloring with my zigs. When my coloring was complete I used some colored pencils (Arteza) in the nooks and crannies for added dimension. In the center of each flower I added a gold Perfect pearls, and used my gel pen for added interest. I also added splatters to the floral sections of my card in gold, a light green, and a red. To complete my card I die cut the floral panel and adhered it to a purple panel, then adhered this to my card base. I used the sentiment Thankful for You – Super Sentimental Brutus Monroe. Foam mounted the sentiment and my card was complete!

I would love for you to comment below and sign up to follow my blog! I truly appreciate you stopping by and have fun on the hop!!!!!! Keep reading below …. to see where you will be going!!!!!

  1. Your card is so pretty
I tend to go for background with designs when I create but I think flowers would be the next thing I choose
and I do love to use my zigs

    1. I love the colors you chose to use to color this flower and would never have put them together! My favorite flowers are lilies and I suck at coloring them. I prefer to use two and three step stamps to add colors since I’m not a good colorist at all. I am so bad, I will not invest in the copic pens, but have had my eyes on the clean color zigs for a long time. There are so many ways to color and I am bad at all of them!

  2. I am always stunned to see how beautifully people like yourself color images! Your card is so pretty! I bought some alcohol markers a while ago, but really only use them on very simple images…not a lot of shading and highlighting! Maybe one of these days I’ll take a class!

  3. Hi Natasha! Love your blog. (I’m following you now) Your colouring is so lovely. I haven’t made any cards recently. I’m hoping this Blog Hop gives me inspiration. I have a lot of pens, so I am going to try some colouring during the lock down. Thanks for sharing. Axx

  5. What an amazing floral card using Brutus Monroe Love You Floral Stamp Set.
I can see this card being one that can be used for many occasions. So glad to see you colored with Zig Markers. I forget from time to time I have these markers and how beautiful they make things look. Great inspiration.
