Unity Stamp Company… New Release

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well and staying healthy! I am excited to share with you beautiful new stamp sets that have released from Unity Stamp Company! I had so much fun creating with these new sets. These new stamps were so fun to color and have such a whimsical feel to them!

For my first card I am using Humble Places by artist Phyllis Harris.

I started by stamping on Canson Mixed media paper, I wanted to create a notecard using this stamp. So I left the front with the image only for now and may add a sentiment later on. I wanted to create a whimsical, water color look for this adorable stamp! As soon as I saw this girl, I fell in love with the stamp! She is the sweetest…. don’t you think? I colored her using Tombow markers. When working with my Tombow markers I place the color on my glass mat and pick up the color using my water brush pen. I added serval layers of color until my coloring was complete. I do wait between layers so my coloring does take me some time. I find this truly makes the watercoloring have better results in the end. I die cut my panel using a Hero Arts nested rectangle, then I used a Gina Marie Designs Only Pierced Dots nested rectangle to add a little interest. I glued the panel onto a black card base and added a few flower sequins and added Stickles to the center of each floral. I hope she brightened your day!

For my second card I am using the new Happiness by Choice – by Phyllis Harris.

I also fell in love with this girl! She is just so peaceful and beautiful at the same time! I followed a similar process with this stamp as card 1. I stamped on Canson Mixed Media paper and colored using my Tombow markers. I allowed the stamped image to dry between layers. To complete my coloring I added Bre Reese Liquid Glitter to her dress! Every girl needs some sparkle, right! Once my coloring was complete I die cut my stamped image using a Double Stiched In and Out Circle die by Gina Marie Designs. I used a background from my stash I had created a little while back. I wanted the green on the bottom to compliment the grass and the purple in the top portion to pull out color from her dress. I used foam tape to adhere the circle and the beautiful stamped sentiment from this set. You can see her sparkly dress in a quick video I am sharing on my instagram page.

For my 3rd card I am sharing Hope and Strength by Graciellie Design. This set recently released as a digital stamp and is now available in red rubber. This set comes with 2 dragon flies (see set for measurements of dragonflies).

For my last card I followed the same process for coloring the dragonfly as shared above for both cards. I wanted this dragonfly to be super sparkly…. I embossed the entire butterfly using WOW Embossing glitter – Fairy Dust! I used a sentiment from the set and foam mounted the dragonfly and the sentiment onto an alcohol ink card panel. I also glued a bit of chunky glitter to the card panel as well for added shine! My card panel was added to a black card base.

Unity Stamp Company also released two more beautiful stamp sets, as well as patterned paper!

Happy Mother’s Day – Graciellie Design

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a good week! I am back sharing the newest release from Graciellie Design – Happy Mother’s Day! This set is beautiful, it has 2 beautiful floral images and 8 different sentiments included in this release!

I started by printing my image on Nennah solor 80 lb card stock. For my coloring today I used my alcohol markers. This is a coloring medium I want to work on for myself, so I thought this is the perfect set to do this. I used a variety of shades for each section of the image. Once my coloring was done I added a bit of color to the nooks and crannies as well. I then used my Brother Scan and cut to fussy cut the image. I then added WOW embossing powder to different sections of the floral image using Fairy Dust embossing powder. I love the added shine of this powder!

I then used an embossing folder from Jo Ann Fabrics to create the panel background for my card base. I foam mounted both my sentiment and floral cluster and my card was complete! I hope you will visit Graciellie Design shop to see the beautiful new release and more!

Have a great weekend and stay healthy!

Change is Coming x3 – Graciellie Design

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well and finding ways to relax and create as well! Today I am stopping in to share 3 cards with you! A good crafty friend of mine Deborah @rightbrainart (check her out on Instagram) recently posted a challenge… you choose a stamp set from your stash and create 3 cards with that set. How fun is this…. and she has prizes for the top 3 entries! You have until April 18th to post! Just be sure to tag #3xcardchallenge over on Instagram! Can’t wait to see what you make! I am also joining in on the fun… today I am sharing 3 cards using the new release from Graciellie Design – Change is Coming. Be sure to check this set out – it is BEAUTIFUL! I will share a brief description of each card, reach out to me if you have more questions!

For my first card I used the single butterfly from this stamp set. I was inspired by an image I found on the internet after searching bright colorful butterflies. I colored the image using my zig clean color brush markers. I added pearl gold sparkle embossing powder from WOW to sections of the wings. To create the polka dots on the black section of the wings I used a white gel pen. I used foam adhesive to adhere the sentiment and die cut the panel using a Gina Marie designs die. I used Nuvo Crystal Drops – in Ebony. I used a black piece of card stock on my A2 sized card for the background and adhered it all together.

For my second card I used the half butterfly again. I colored the stamped image using my zig clean color brush markers. I also added sparkles to the butterfly using a sparkle pen. I used a background I had previously created from my stash. I then die cut a circle and used an embossing folder (Jo Ann Fabrics) to add more dimension to my die cut circle. I used glitter paper to create the 3 strips across the bottom section of my card. I chose the sentiment Change is Coming. I added some drops in pink (older Stampin Up Kit), adhered it all together, and my card was complete.

In the above image you will see my 3rd card I created using the Change is Coming set. You can find more details on my previous post from March 20. I hope you enjoyed seeing 3 different ways to use this beautiful stamp set from Graciellie Designs. I encourage you to join in on the fun and create 3 cards using a stamp set of your choice! Graciellie Designs & WOW Embossing Powders

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great week! I am so excited to share with you a collaboration between Graciellie Designs and WOW Embossing Powders! Be sure to visit Instagram for more information on the hop, see beautiful inspiration from the team, and ways to use digital stamps with embossing powders! As well as enter to win a PRIZE!!!!!!

For my first card I used the Beautiful Peony stamp set from Graciellie Designs. https://gracielliedesign.shop/product-category/digital-stamps/floral/ You can see this set along with many other beautiful floral images here in the link provided. I started by layering the large peony and added leaves to my image to create a large floral cluster! This is one of the reasons digital images are so fun and easy to work with! You can layer/mask right on your computer, no masking paper required! I colored my images using my zig brush markers. I also used colored pencils in the nooks and crannies on the peony image.

The WOW embossing powders were so fun and easy to work with! I had a great time! For my first card I chose to work with the beautiful Sea Turtle Embossing powder. https://wowembossingpowder.com/embossing-powders/ I love the tones of green and white in this powder, I thought it was perfect for leaves! I also wanted to add some more embossing to this project, so I die cut my sentiment (hugs) from Simon Says Stamp and added the metallic gold rich to the word hugs. For both the leaves and the sentiment I used my embossing pen by Ranger to emboss the area prior to adding the powders. I then added splatters and sequins for additional shine and interest!

For my second card I chose to work with the Hey Beautiful stamp set https://gracielliedesign.shop/product/hey-beautiful-mega-digital-stamp-set/

I started by working with this beautiful large floral image in word and added leaves behind the image. For this design I wanted to make the floral image bright and use pops of color! I used my arteza brush pens for my coloring. I used many layers of color, I wanted to create a bold and bright card! I also used colored pencils in the nooks and crannies. I love adding deep rich colors here, it truly makes the image pop! I then wanted to create added interest using the embossing powder, I used the Metallic Gold Rich powder here on my card. I used my embossing pen to create horizontal lines across my card front using my t-square ruler on my card front panel. In some areas I chose to leave an area off for embossing to create added interest and more of a distressed look.

I hope you had a great week and join us on the hop! There are so many beautiful cards and inspiration on ways to use digital stamps with embossing powder!

Have a wonderful weekend! Crafty Hugs,

Natasha
