New RED Rubber RELEASE – Unity Stamp Company

Wow – Happy Friday and Happy May 1st! I can’t believe it is May already! It has been a rainy week here in upstate NY, but today my blog is full of sunshine…. Unity Stamp Company has a beautiful new release – click here to see all the GORGEOUS new stamps! I am going to share several cards today using the new release.

My first card is using this new gorgeous set called One of those People. I was so excited to use this set, as this set is designed by a dear crafty friend of mine, Sandhya Iyer. I am so excited for her as she begins this next creative journey in designing stamps! I had so much fun with this one! I stamped the beautiful floral cluster 2 times on Canson Mixed Media Paper. I used my zigs to color the flowers and leaves. Once my coloring was complete I used my scan and cut to fussy cut each cluster. I created an ink smooshed watercolor background on an A2 sized panel using distress ink: peacock feathers and a navy blue from Stampin up. Once my panel was dry I added silver splatters to the background and metallic purple splatters to the floral cluster. I foam mounted the flowers and adhered my sentiment to the panel and attached this to my card base.

My second card is using the beautiful new release Possible Not Easy, designed by Sandhya Iyer! I am so proud of her! I fell in love with this set right away, Coneflowers are one of my favorite flowers! I stamped the beautiful images on Canson Mixed media paper and used my Tombow markers to color each image. I used a combination of pinks, purple, and even navy blue to color each floral image. I used shades of green and grayish-green to color each leaf in as well. I used my san and cut to fussy cut each floral. I set these aside. I used a background for my florals from my stash. I had created this awhile back. The stencil is from Gina Marie designs, along with some glitter glaze from Brutus Monroe on the left hand side. I adhered the sketchy square panel (also from set), florals, and sentiment…. my card is complete! I love this set and can’t wait to use it again!

For my 3rd card I am sharing the beautiful Happy Mother’ Day set by artist Graciellie Design. This set is releasing in red rubber today!!!!!! It has a beautiful floral cluster, along with florals inside a cup. The sentiments in this set are amazing! This set will be wonderful to create cards for any special female in your life and can be used all year long.

For my 4th card I am using 2 new stamp sets A Faithful Letter background stamp and Hello Sweetheart Bouquet – May Sentiment Kit. I was so excited to combine both of these sets for my card! This background is amazing, the font is so beautiful! I stamped the background on Canson Mixed Media paper and used Distressed inks to create an ink smooshed background. I love the added color this gave to this beautiful stamp. I set this aside to dry. I then stamped the bouquet from the stamp set which is a combination of florals and feathers! WHAT… this is amazing! I colored in these beautiful flowers and feathers using a combination of pinks and teals. I used my scan and cut to fussy cut the image. I die cut a circle using a piece of vellum and adhered my floral image to the vellum. I glued the scripty background panel to an A2 card base. I used black twine and tied this around my card base. I used foam tape to adhere the stamped image and my sentiment to my background panel. I added a few sequins and my card was complete.

So Very Grateful – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone – I hope you have had a good weekend and are doing well! I am so grateful for my family, my health, friends, and my hobby. I have found my hobby to be so relaxing and a way to unwind after a busy, stressful day! Coloring for me is a way to relax. What do you enjoy doing to relax? Today I am using a gorgeous floral cluster from the April Kit of the Month – Unity Stamp Company. I recently became a subscriber to their monthly kit! I can’t believe the amount of stamps in the kit – it is AMAZING! You can see the subscriptions here – Unity Stamp Company Subscriptions.

I started by stamping the large floral cluster in each corner on Bristol Smooth card stock. I am using Vera Fine Ink – black, as I will be using my Zig markers today. The image has a pot below the floral cluster, but I chose to use the flowers only for today’s card. I was inspired by a color pallet I found, it was pinks, blues, and a peach color. I loved the colors. You can see a list of the colors I used below.

When my coloring was complete I used 2 different rectangle dies. I used a pierced rectangle die to create a pattern around the outside of the card. This die does not cut a rectangle, it adds interest. I then used a Hero Arts rectangle die to cut a center rectangle. I then adhered this rectangle on foam to raise up the center panel a bit. I then glued the outer rectangle frame on a card base, then glued down the center. I added splatter to my card using my zig markers. I wanted the splatters to pick up on the colors from my florals. I used a sentiment So very Grateful -Unity Stamp Company. This was a recent freebie from a recent order- isn’t it beautiful!

Thank you for stopping by! I am listing all the products I have used below. You can click on any of the links I have shared if you are interested in purchasing the products. Plant Hope – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone! Welcome back! I am excited to share a beautiful new digi stamp release from Unity Stamp Company. It is called Plant Hope! This set is beautiful. When you purchase this set you will have access to the individual image and sentiments, as well as pre-made card panels! These are perfect for coloring, foiling, and sending out a little happy mail! You can see this release, as well as the other new digi releases at Unity Stamp Company.

To begin I started by using a pre made card panel. I started by printing this on Canson Mixed Media paper. I have loved this paper for my digital images lately and using my water based markers. For this card I used my Tombow brush pens. When I do work with digi stamp sets I do work directly in Microsoft word. I have found it to work very well. I am happy to help with that as well, feel free to ask my any questions.

When I use my water based markers I always tape down my paper onto a board or clipboard, to prevent warping. I used many different colors for today’s project. I love color and bright flowers! I had fun mixing colors to create these blooms.

When I was done coloring I used my metallic water colors to add splatter. Adding splatter to my cards is one of my favorite details to add! I then set this aside to dry. Once my panel was dry, I used a Hero Arts die to trim the panel. I started by trimming to a full A2 sized card panel. I then chose another die (2 sizes) smaller to trim the panel one more time. I then glued the middle section onto a foam base. I then glued both parts to my card base.

What is your favorite detail to add to a card?

You are Forever Beautiful – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone! I hope this post finds you well and healthy! Today is my son’s 15th birthday! It’s an exciting day for sure! Today I am sharing the beautiful stamp set – You are Forever Beautiful from Unity Stamp Company. I love this stamp and was so excited to color it in as a part of the daily marker from Kathy R.

I started by stamping this beautiful floral 2 times on Neenah 80lb card stock. I stamped the floral across the top and then the bottom too. I used memento ink black, for my stamping today, as I am using Altenew Artist Markers. For today’s coloring I started a bit different as I am trying to learn the best way for me to use alcohol markers. I started dark to light this time. What I love about these markers is that they come in a blending set already. So this helps me for sure! I colored this over a couple of evenings.

Once my coloring was complete I did add a little colored pencils into the nooks and crannies as well. I added a few gold stickles to various parts of the stamp for added shine. I chose a sentiment (Thank you) from Unity’s April Kit of the Month. I love this kit and just became a subscriber! The kits are amazing, full of AMAZING stamps and sentiments! Unity does offer several monthly kits and you can see more information here! As a monthly kit member you have many perks….. check out the memberships that Unity has to offer and see if one of them is right for you!

Forest Butterfly – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone! I am stopping in with a quick post on day 1 of the coloring challenge! I am so happy to join in the next 30 days of the coloring challenge with Kathy Racoosin. This afternoon I was able to relax and color using the new release from Unity Stamp Company – Forest Butterfly. This new release is from artist Graciellie Design. I love this stamp set and I am so excited to have this in red rubber! My set arrived yesterday and I was so excited to ink it up for day 1 of the challenge! If you are interested in purchasing this set it is still on sale, I would so greatly appreciate you using my affiliate link. Thank you!

I started by stamping the large butterfly on Bristol Smooth card stock. I stamped it in Versafine black ink. I used a combination of colors on this butterfly to create a rainbow image. I had so much fun coloring and enjoyed relaxing! I used both my Zig markers, as well as my Tombow dual brush pens. I used many layers until I achieved the look I was going for. When I was done coloring I added colored pencils to my shadows for further interest and dimension. I then used my scan and cut to trim the butterfly. I added foam tape to the back and set it aside.

For my background I started with a piece of Canson watercolor card stock to create an ink smooshed background. I used Brutus Monroe’s turquoise aqua pigment to create this look. I placed a small amount of color and water on my glass mat, then smooshed the paper on the ink. I moved it around several times to achieve the look. I then added splatters to the panel. I trimmed the panel to create an A2 sized panel and glued this onto my card base. I chose the sentiment from the set and stamped this onto my card panel. I added a few sequins for added sparkle.

I hope this card brings you a smile today! Have a wonderful evening crafty friends!

Thank you so much for your continued support! It means so much to me!

Peony Hugs – Unity Stamp Company

Happy Sunday crafty friends! I hope you are having a good weekend! I have been able to start working in my garden which is one of my other loves! It feels so good! I am actually headed back outside shortly! Today I am sharing another card design using the Peony Hugs – Unity Stamp Company. I LOVE this set! The gorgeous full blooms are amazing and is designed by artist Graciellie Designs! This gorgeous set is still on SALE today – you can find it here, as well as here is a link to the amazing flash sale from this weekend! I am truly grateful if you use my affiliate link! Thank you!

I started by stamping my image on kraft card stock. I love kraft paper and the rustic vibe it has! If you saw my home, you would know I love the country/rustic vibe! I wanted to use colored pencils for my coloring today. I used a variety of shades of yellow, deep orange, and a deep brown on the flowers, along with white. I always start from the lightest shade and work my way to the darkest. For my leaves I used a light green, dark green, a teal, as well as a little yellow in some areas. I really let my pencils do most of the work as far as the shading, in a couple sports I may have pushed to hard.

I then used my brother scan and cut to cut my peony image. I set this aside. I then chose the same kraft for a card panel. I used a combination of white, gold, and black splatters. I then used a hero arts rectangle die to cut the outer edge of the kraft and a Gina Marie designs die to add the dot details to the inner portion of the card panel. I adhered the panel to a brown card base (Recollections 120 lb paper). I used foam adhesive to adhere my floral image and I used all 3 sentiments from this beautiful set. I adhered them in various spots on my card panel. I then added 3 Nuvo drops in black.

I hope you enjoy this card! If you love this gorgeous set I encurage you to add it to your cart today! Have a wonderful weekend! I truly appreciate your time and your encouragement!

Peony Hugs – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone! I am stopping in with a quick blog post….I was so excited to share with you that Unity Stamp Company has released the beautiful Peony Hugs from the artsit Graciellie Designs into a red rubber stamp! This stamp is so beautiful! I couldn’t wait to make a card! Unity Stamp Company is also hosting an amazing weekend flash and inventory sale! You can see it here. If you are inspired by my card, I would greatly appreciate you using my affiliate links! Thank you so much!

I stamped 2 images using the beautiful peony cluster. I used Canson Mixed Media paper. This is a light weight paper, but I knew I was going to do a light wash of color, so I knew it would be ok. I used distress inks to watercolor my peonies. I used picked raspberry and evergreen bough. I did each color twice. I used a very light hand on my coloring, this is different for me. I wanted to create a subtle, but very beautiful floral image. What do you think?

Once my watercoloring had dried, I used my scan and cut to trim these images. I then set them aside and aslo under heavy books for the night. I used a Gina Marie Designs background die. I love this die. I cut it in black cardstock and adhered this to my panel. The next day I added some gold splatters to my flowers. I played with a few different layouts, but once I was happy, I adhered them with foam tape to my card. I added my sentiment and a few sequins and my card was complete!

I am so excited about this beautiful stamp being released in red rubber, Peony Hugs! Its truly stunning and if you agree, visit my links! Be sure to check out the amazing flash sales – here !

Have a great night! Crafty Hugs,

Time to be Grateful – Unity Stamp Company

Good morning everyone! I hope this post finds you doing well. Today I am sharing another limited time digital stamp release from Unity Stamp Company – Time to be Grateful. This set is beautiful, the file you purchase has pre-made A2 panels with the beautiful girl, sentiments, and foliage. I love that they have pre-made panels, as well as individual images! It allows you to jump right in and color, as well as create your own panels! LOVE IT! If you have been following me for a little while you know I like to set crafty goals for myself. Another goal I have is to color people. I was inspired by a recent live post on the Unity Stamp Company – facebook page by Bobbie Sue McConathy. You can catch the replay of her live (click on the link)! I just adore her work, her energy, and her cards! Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement Bobbie Sue!

I started by printing my images and sentiment on Bristol Smooth card stock. I love this paper when I use my zig markers. I love this image… from her jeans, to her adorable sweatshirt, and her purse! I have to admit I want this purse in real life! I colored the image in using my zig clean color brush markers. I like to start with my lightest layer and then add more color in deeper tones to add the dimension. I was most nervous about coloring the skin, I used Bobbie Sue’s video (see above link) to help me through this part. One tip she had was to start with the skin first. This way if you use darker colors next to the skin you don’t have to worry so much about them bleeding over. Once I was happy with my coloring I added pencils in the shadow areas for more dimension.

I then fussy cut the girl out and set her aside. I chose a stencil to use for my background (Flower pattern stencil – Simon Says Stamp). I used a combination of distress oxides – Faded Jeans and Tumbled Glass. I started with deeper tones in the bottom left and worked my way to lighter tones across the panel. I then glued my girl down onto the panel and set it aside to dry.

To complete my card I adhered the panel onto a gray card base and added some enamel dots from Gina Marie designs. I hope you like this card and you check out the limited time digital stamps from Unity Stamp Company. I have linked their latest releases here! Be sure to check them out! I appreciate if you would use my affiliate link as well! Thank you for stopping by today and wishing you a nice Sunday!

In this Together – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone – I hope you are having a good week. I wanted to stop in and say hello, as well as share a beautiful new release with you from Unity Stamp Company! For a limited time ONLY – Unity Stamp Co. will be offering digital stamps and they are GORGEOUS! They are truly perfect for everything that is going on right now. I am also excited to share I am an affiliate for Unity Stamp Company. If you enjoy my card and the sets I used or see other things that catch your eye on their amazing website, I hope you will consider shopping on my link. Today I am sharing 2 cards I made using the new In this Together set. This set was designed by the artist Lorica Jackson. I love this stamp, Lorica did an AMAZING job! The set you purchase contains pre-made A2 card panels, as well as individual images you can resize and create with on your own! How fun is that!

For both of my cards I started by printing various sizes of this gorgeous floral image on Neenah 80lb card stock. I wanted to use alcohol markers for both of my projects. For my first card I colored 3 of the floral images in using my arteza everblend markers. I wanted to practice using these markers. For the coloring on these 3 floral images I started by laying a shadow color down (purple), then used a light yellow, dark yellow, and continued to work to blend until I achieved the color I was going for. I then went in the nooks and crannies with colored pencils for more shadow and dimension. I added Rainbow SparkleBrutus Monroe embossing powder to the center of each flower. I love the subtle sparkle it has!

For this card I wanted to create a spring feel with a rustic twist. I went through my stash and found a kraft cardstock A2 panel that was pre made with an embossing folder. I added gold splatter to the panel and set it aside to dry. I used some black and white paper to create the strip on the left side. I used foam adhesive for the flower images and sentiment and then put my card together. I hope you like this one – it reminds me of summer with the bright yellow!

For my second card I chose to enlarge the floral image and place it in the top left corner. I do all my editing in word for my digital stamps. I printed this image on Neenah 80lb card stock as well. I loved coloring this large floral image. I used a mix of my copic markers and Altenew artist markers on this card. Once my coloring was completed I added colored pencils to the nooks and crannies. I then used a Hero Arts die to cut out my card panel, I made it slightly smaller than an A2 sized card.

I used my Ranger embossing pen to add Metallic Embossing powder – Gilded from Brutus Monroe I created vertical and horizontal lines using my T- square ruler. I love the added touch of the gold. I used foam tape to adhere my sentiment to the card panel and then layered a piece of black card stock behind the panel and adhered it to an A2 sized card.

I hope you enjoyed seeing 2 cards I created using this beautiful new set – In this Together – from Unity Stamp Company. This set is beautiful! I love how it has panels created for you that are all ready to go! Truly a great way to relax and just color, as well as individual images for you to create your own designs with! I hope you give them a try! I would appreciate you checking out my affiliate links as well if you enjoyed this stamp set, as well as other products!

Allow Yourself – Unity Stamp Company

Hi everyone! I hope your day is going well. As I have been working from home this week, I have enjoyed participating in The Daily Marker 30 day challenge. Coloring has always been an outlet for me and truly a part of my day/week I look forward to! This week as I have been coloring I have had time to think about the joys around me. I am thankful for my family, my home, my friends, and my health. I hope you are doing well too and are finding a way to relax. Today I am sharing a beautiful stamp from Unity Stamp Co called Allow Yourself. This stamp is beautiful….

I started by stamping the butterfly/floral image on Bristol smooth card stock. I knew I was going to do some ink blending, as well as use my Tombow markers. I used Detail Ink – from Brutus Monroe (Raven) I am loving this ink and the smooth crisp lines I get when I am stamping. I then colored this beautiful butterfly using my Tombow markers. I wanted to create a bright and bold butterfly. I used a variety of colors to achieve the color pallet I was going for. Once I was done coloring with my markers, I went back in and used colored pencils to achieve more dimension.

I then went around the butterfly image with my embossing pen and gold embossing powder to add more details to my card panel. I wanted to try something different on this card so I used 2 distress oxide colors: Tattered Rose and Fossilized Amber to create a border around the stamp/card. To create the border I used washi tape. It was fun trying something new, what do you think?

I chose a sentiment from the Allow Yourself stamp set… I loved this sentiment and it just reminded me that during these tough times there are some things I can’t control. I am trying to let go of the things I can’t control and take things day by day. I hope this butterfly brings you a bit of joy today! Wishing you and your family all the best and good health.
